The Moth Pro is a mobile workstation for on-set makeup artists. It opens flat, holds what you put down, carries on your body or rolls beside you, and shrugs off weather. Configure it once at home; work out of it all day.
In reach — the magnetised tray
The tray is the difference. Magnets hold your most-used tools where you left them: bottles stand upright, palettes stay flat, nothing tips into the bag below when the trolley moves. Lift the tray out and it becomes your working surface on whatever is to hand. Drop it back and it holds.
In order — inserts, sleeves and decant bottles
Deep variable inserts take large and small items without the usual compromise. Envelope sleeves slide into dedicated pockets so a category comes out in one movement rather than a rummage. Magnetised decant bottles hold your essential liquids upright and sealed — no leaks into the base of the bag, no hunting for the right product mid-turnaround.
Inserts are swappable. Pack one for SFX, one for beauty, one per actor. The decisions happen on your kitchen table in your own time, not at the trolley with four minutes to go.
In command — wear it, wheel it, rest on it
A dual-purpose adjustable strap converts from over-the-shoulder carry to a front-facing, hands-free workstation. Four ways to work:
- Cross-shoulder — for long days on your feet
- Waist-secured — with shoulder strap support for stability
- Nestled into kit — mobile, stowed, ready
- Rolling set checks — mounted on the wheeled frame
Light on you, bulk on wheels. When the location turns, the tailored all-weather cover goes over the top and your kit stays dry.

Honestly, this set bag is such a game changer! You can tell how much thought has gone into every little detail. The magnetic table is so handy for touch ups on set, but I think my favourite thing is the interchangeable inserts, they make getting the bag ready so much easier! 🤍
When I saw Caitlin’s idea for a set bag and trolley on wheels, I thought it was such a brilliant design, the fact that you can sit your actor down have a portable station to work from and transport all of your kit easily in one lightweight and easy to manoeuvre trolley is exactly what I needed. I’m super thrilled with it and the fact it was designed by someone who knows what a hair and makeup artist needs makes it so useful and special. I’ve already taken mine to Italy as well as several UK locations and it’s worked perfectly on all-terrain.
Love, love, love my Moth makeup set bag. The only bag I’ve had that has absolutely everything you need as well as being super easy on your body to carry with all the support straps. Having a set bag with a fold out tray is an absolute game-changer. The self-adhesive magnets that you can attach to all your palettes and powders make it super adaptable to all jobs. Not to mention the interchangeable inserts that make it so easy to pickup from your makeup station and pop it into your bag. The most genius set bag ever!
What Caitlin has created is such a brilliantly considered concept for the working hair and makeup artist. You can really feel the passion and understanding of life on set behind every element of the design from the storage and decanting possibilities to the wearable set bag, durable trolley and integrated seat. In an industry where we’re constantly trying to bring organisation to the chaos, having everything thoughtfully designed around the way we actually work is invaluable. It’s the kind of system I had imagined myself years ago but never got around to creating, so I was thrilled to discover that Caitlin had actually made it a reality. The quality and functionality are fantastic, and Caitlin’s customer service has been equally wonderful. I’m incredibly excited to get mine fully set up and working on set.
I love my Moth make-up trolley and set-bag combo, it’s the perfect compact size for everything I might need on set. I particularly love the interchangeable inserts which are so helpful especially when working in crowd. As I have a bad back and experience difficulty with heavy bags the integrated seat is a game changer, and I love the way it’s tucked away and not obvious! All in all I love this new set bag system, and I haven’t even started on the amazing magnetised element of the bag! Being able to have a mini portable table with me on set when doing checks is something I’ve never seen anywhere else before, it’s genius!!
